Since I was doing this, I also added my good friend Daniel's blog to the list. You know you want to read it.

Whew, that's getting to be a lot to read (drink)!

So, I added Nellie's blog to the List-O-Blog to the right, so you should probably check that out. I think right now there's something about kissing there. I also changed Steve's blog to the correct address, which I thought I did a long time ago, but turns out I didn't (but now I did).

It was so much harder to watch a man get shot while he was still. If he was running, even walking, it seemed alright because he was active. But when they took the village of rebels, and after none of them would say even one word to the soldiers in any of the interrogations, they took one influencial-looking man and brought him to the street and knelt him down in the middle of the dust and sun and the whole village and they shot him in the head. He didn't flinch or react at all, he only fell over as if struck, only half of his head was gone. It was then that I started to question the cause, the instant that the man fell into the dust. Maybe it was because there was no drama any more to help cope with any of it. There was no trying to avoid, no desperate noble struggle before the death so that it looked like it was worth it all. There was nothing noble or impressive in anything any more. They walked him out, and knelt him down, and there was one crack which didn't even echo, and then a corpse. After that no one felt like killing and we left the town with nothing but some wine we found in a vacated shop and the image of dust and sun and blood.
