Well, it has been a busy past little while. I'll maybe just go over some highlights. I'm settling into my new home here in Winnipeg, which is turning out quite nicely. I started classes on thursday, and I think college is going to be alright. It did turn out that I had accidentally registered for a third year course, but I'm going to stick with it anyways, and see how it goes. The prof seems alright, even though it's a WOMAN! And therefore something of a feminist, but not a radical. My favorite teacher I believe is going to be my Political Studies teacher, who is very cynical and forboding. He told the class on friday morning that he was not going to be showing up for friday morning classes, because he didn't want to get up that early. He said we could come if we wanted, because that's what our schedule says, but he won't be there, he'll be sleeping. Really, a very cool, hip, and just genearlly with it guy. My least favorite teacher I'd have to say would be my English prof, who is seemingly like every other person who teaches, and often those who are majoring in, english: stuck up, petty, overbearing, and just juevenille. He got all anal about the essay layouts ("Do not single-space!" repeat, repeat, repeat) as if his was the only course we were writing essays for but, o! I guess if your whole course is just about writing you have to make it seem important. What did you do to get your degree again? What? Oh yeah, absofuckinglutely nothing. On the plus side, I get to read some good stuff.
Last night I went to a Thousand Foot Krutch concert with my cousin and his girlfriend. They're a christian rock group, who've become rather big up here in Canada, no one in the states has heard of them. The band, I mean, not my cousin and his girlfriend. Ahaha. I can't say that that's all that surprising though, they're not very good. The band I mean, not my cousin and his girlfriend. Baahaha. The moshpit was awesome though. So much sweat, so much.
